Moxa MGate 5111 Series Features
The Moxa MGate 5111 series has been equipped with advanced features that support protocol conversions from Modbus RTU/ASCII/TCP, EtherNet/IP, or PROFINET to PROFIBUS and allow flexible integration with legacy systems. It supports PROFIBUS DP V0 slave and Modbus RTU/ASCII/TCP master/client and slave/server to provide extensive options for communication. In addition, the MGate 5111 gateways are capable of functioning as an EtherNet/IP Adapter and a PROFINET IO device for communication between different network layers. The inclusion of a microSD card for configuration backup ensures that important settings are easily retrievable and adds to system reliability. The MGate 5111 protocol gateways feature redundant dual DC power inputs and a relay output to offer enhanced system resilience. The gateway supports the PROFIBUS DP protocol for efficiently managing field device communication in industrial automation, such as Factory Automation and Oil and Gas. This MGate series operates within a 12 to 48 VDC input voltage range and comes in a rugged metal housing with an IP30 rating. It can handle extreme temperatures and operate from -40 to 75°C in the T models, and guarantees reliable performance in harsh environments.
