Moxa RKS-G4030-PL-L3 Series Introduction
The Moxa RKS-G4030-PL-L3 Series is a modular Layer 3 managed Ethernet switch designed for high-performance Industrial Networking. It provides six 1000/2500/10000BaseSFP ports, eight 10/100/1000/2500BaseT(X) ports, and two expansion slots for up to 16 additional Gigabit Ethernet ports. The series supports modular LAN and isolated power configurations, with redundant power options for demanding Network Infrastructure. Hardware-based IEEE 1588 PTP provides precise time synchronization, while Layer 3 routing supports communication between separate industrial network segments.

Moxa RKS-G4030-PL-L3 is suitable for power substation automation, railway systems, intelligent transportation, and factory automation. Its 10GbE backbone interfaces support high-bandwidth Industrial Ethernet connections between servers, control systems, and network aggregation points. Layer 3 switching enables communication across different IP network segments. VLAN, QoS, IGMP snooping, LACP, and multicast management functions support structured Industrial Communication. The switch can also support SCADA and IIoT infrastructure, including power applications using its built-in MMS server based on IEC 61850-90-4 switch data modeling.
