MOXA IM-6700A Series Introduction
The Moxa
IM-6700A module series is a powerful complement to the industrial network infrastructure and offers reliable and flexible connectivity across critical applications. The IM-6700A series has been designed to build
up with Ethernet switches, including PoE Ethernet switches, rackmount Ethernet switches, and layer 2 managed Ethernet switches to provide solid networking solutions across various industries. The IM-6700A module provides
high-speed and reliable connections to meet demanding industrial settings for
maximum network performance. This allows operators to tailor their infrastructure
with multiple configurations to suit specific needs. The IM-6700A Ethernet modules are sophisticated
data transmission solutions for highly trafficked applications where a constant
and secure flow of communication is in dire need. The Moxa IM-6700A fast Ethernet module series allows for integration and future-proof scalability. The IM
6700A series ensures the network infrastructure remains robust, secure,
and efficient to meet the ever-growing demands of your modern industrial
operations.
MOXA IM-6700A Series Features
The features in the Moxa IM-6700A are for the diversified needs of industrial networking. The modules support the following configurations for different fiber optic networking. On the other hand, this series of the Moxa module provides up to 6 x 100BaseFX ports with single-mode SC connectors for long-distance communication in large-scale networks. The IM-6700A series also features up to 8 x 100BaseSFP slots for users to install transceivers that best fit their application requirements. The Moxa IM-6700A modules also come with a maximum of 8 x 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet ports equipped with RJ45 connectors to support auto-negotiation to adjust the required speed and duplex modes. These also include auto MDI/MDI-X connections eliminate the requirement for crossover cables and simplify network setup. The Moxa IM-6700A module series in the full/half duplex mode, allows optimized flow to be given to the data so that latency is reduced, thereby enhancing the general performance of the network in high-reliability industrial environments.
