Moxa EDS-305 series Introduction
The Moxa EDS-305 series is a family of compact industrial unmanaged Ethernet switches designed to deliver reliable and economical network connectivity in demanding industrial environments. These EDS-305 unmanaged switches provide five Ethernet ports and are engineered to support critical communication across factory automation, oil and gas, marine, and water and wastewater systems. As part of the Moxa EDS series and the broader Moxa network infrastructure, the EDS-305 switches ensure stable industrial Ethernet connections while minimizing configuration complexity. Each switch includes a built-in relay warning function that alerts engineers to power failures or port disconnections, helping maintain continuous operation in automation networks. Designed for harsh industrial conditions, these industrial Ethernet switches meet hazardous location requirements such as Class 1 Division 2 and ATEX Zone 2, while also complying with FCC, UL, and CE standards. The series supports both standard temperature operation from 0 to 60°C and wide temperature operation from −40 to 75°C, ensuring dependable performance across diverse industrial sites. With 100% burn-in testing and easy DIN-rail or distribution box installation, the Moxa EDS-305 series provides a cost-effective and robust solution within the Moxa switches portfolio for building stable industrial networks.
